Clean Technology
According to Peattie (2001, cited in Jain et al. 2015 ,p.15), the development of green marketing has three stages:
1. "Ecological" green marketing, (marketers oriented towards solving environmental issues),
2. "Environmental" green marketing (the attention focusses now on clean technology or clean tech)
3. "Sustainable" green marketing. "
Clean technology is defined as the different products, services and procedures that aim at providing top performance at affordable costs, while conserving the natural environment and promoting the productive and balanced use of the planet's natural resources” (Fuentes 2012).
